  1. What Is It?
A résumé edit is a thorough, line-by-line edit of your existing résumé. The editor will fix the following types of issues: • Typos. • Missing words. • Common errors (their vs. there vs. they’re). • Subject/verb agreement. • Stylistic inconsistencies. • Formatting inconsistencies.
  2. What's Included?
When you order a résumé edit, you provide your current résumé to us for review. You then meet virtually with a MACE Writing editor for a short interview. After this, you receive the fully edited résumé back (in Word). Track Changes will be used, and global suggestions will be made via comments in the Word document. This gives you final say about all changes made to your résumé. MACE Writing edits according to the 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 and 𝘔𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘮-𝘞𝘦𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳.
  3. Not Included?
Our résumé editing service is an edit, not a total rewrite. (Creating a résumé from scratch falls under our ghostwriting services, as does crafting a cover letter.) MACE Writing, of course, cannot guarantee you job interviews or offers of employment.
  4. Benefits?
Nothing can guarantee you a job, but a sloppy résumé full of typos, errors, and inconsistencies is good way to miss out on interview opportunities. With the job market as competitive as it is, a stellar résumé can help set you apart, and if it helps you land a job or get crucial contacts that lead to a job, the service can pay for itself many times over!
  5. Price?
A résumé edit is charged at an hourly rate of $50. This applies to time for the résumé review, interview, editing work, and any revisions.
